    Upcoming Gigs of Interest

I was just thinking yesterday that I loved it when Leagues was booking gigs into the Pavilion theatre a few years ago. So handy for us, got to see A Winged Victory for the Sullen and Bonnie Prince Billy there. No interest in this though.

Ian William Craig (Fatcat/Recital) + Rachael Lavelle @ The Sound House

I don’t know him but like the description. Might see if I can go.

    Minor complaints thread

Combination of mid-term and childminder being sick has completely scrambled my day. Meetings cancelled (and missed) and work pushed back by at least a week. Nothing is life or death but I still have to teach in the middle of the day and that can’t be re-arranged. I have a big ball of stress in...

    Recommend some good prog rock

The only album I’ve ever listened to by them is Selling England by the Pound. It was dreadful.

Cast this guy out! Firstly, comparing anything to “Dreaming” is unfair as it is the definition of a perfect song. Secondly, The 15th and Map Ref should have been number ones, it is the public that are wrong.

I did one of my very first reviews (possibly one of my first live reviews at that) for brainwashed at the time. Looking back, young Cornu was not kind to your band. Sorry! (If it's any consolation, I'm cringing myself inside-out here reading my old writing.)...

"The 15th" is a belter! I have downloads of the expanded editions and honestly I don't think they are worth the money. If they come down in price, I'll get them but I'm happy with my EMI ones from the 90s with the few bonus tracks on them (I think they're just the singles from around the same...
