So when did Eirecore start, from clicking the last page on previous below it goes to 2002 but there's no welcome to eirecore type announcement? What came before? I'm particularly looking for any reference of the tour de France punk fest in 98 but that was possibly pre internet forums?

nope, just never got around to it, the lack of replies, peoples list used to run to pages and pages defintiely a factor

There's a gig on in the warehouse in Galway this Saturday, 20th but that's first one there in a while. Think there's still some gigs in pubs but nothing like when Dan from ofac was putting them on

I'd be dubious of bands with one time drummers pushing the name normally but he did sing on a few tracks and wrote the classic somebody put something in my drink so he's probably as entitled as anyone to make a living
