I saw that lately. They gave me a refund when I couldn't go to an event last year, so that explains maybe why they don't allow reselling. They simply resell the tickets themselves?

So annoying when they do that. NCH are terrible for it too - full price ticket, and you can only sit in the very back row. I find it's only sporting organisations that consistently give free companion tickets.

Am I the only person who finds Nick Cave insufferable? This image he has of a wise, deep-thinking, intellectual sage. When he wrote the single cringiest opening line to a song ever - 'I don't believe in an interventionist God'. Absolute charlatan.

I wonder has McGregor done a Flatley on this and financed the whole thing?

Irreversible Entanglements in Whelan's. Excellent gig - incredible musicians at the top of their game. Struck a perfect balance between melodic and fiery. Loved it.

I was at the show in Dublin last night. Totally agree - amazing performance. And the support was fantastic too.

I think they supported Do Make Say Think around then too. Always good live any time I saw them.

I was at that! Great gig if memory serves

Rachel's were due to play TBMC back in 2000 but gig was cancelled due to some issue at Gatwick. They never came back. Also had a ticket for a dEUS, Pavement, Mercury Rev triple-header in the Tivoli in around 1994/95 that was cancelled. That would have been amazing.

That venue in Ballykeefe is amazing. Been there a few times, including Villagers last summer. I don't know who books it, but the line-up is usually pretty dire, which is a shame.
