I’ve only been at one gig there ever, Lou Reed about a million years ago.
yeah I thought those Sufjan gigs were great but I was right up the front looking at him with loveheart eyes for the whole time!I saw Sufjan there before and it was great. Was a bit wary because Modest Mouse had been there a few weeks previously and I'd heard ropey things.
Sure who could blame you?yeah I thought those Sufjan gigs were great but I was right up the front looking at him with loveheart eyes for the whole time!
I was a few rows back, crying.yeah I thought those Sufjan gigs were great but I was right up the front looking at him with loveheart eyes for the whole time!
I guess it's hard to play brass instruments quietly if you're playing party music. I was once at a christening in a small pub where a kid kept playing the bagpipes.I was at a 40th party on Saturday night where a band played. Drums, bass, guitar, brass, vocals. It was unbelievably loud. Most of the people who bolted the venue to chat were musicians protecting their hearing.
It was a pity because they were good time party music, I think.
oh right. yeah, no need for amplificationThe brass would have been fine if it wasn't being blown at full strength with the mic being swallowed by the blowy bit into a PA on max. If they just turned off the PA it would have worked.
Why’s that now?Jesus piece, just as well in hindsight
Shit, should be what gig didn't you go too thread. oopsWhy’s that now?
