Wow, I have just discovered... (1 Viewer)

I know how to use wikipedia.

The song you posted is from 1979 and it screams of the post-Wuthering Heights pop landscape, the song Go posted is from 1975 and bears no relation in visual or aural terms to the early work of Kate Bush except that they both stink of the 70s and maybe she moves her hands a bit.
don't agree at all! if anyone took something from the other it was Kate.
anyway Noosha is cool.

Well we can agree to disagree on this, but I think you may as well take someone like Stevie Nicks, who fairly personifies the promise of California, and say she invented Kate Bush because she wore floaty dresses and was singing about witches in 1975.

OK the comment about Kate Bush was petty alright.
I just thought I posted a cool disco tune.
But Noosha Fox's music doesn't change much over the period 75-79 other than with advances in production.

for what it's worth (not much) K.B. is repeatedly name checked in the youtube comments on Fox's videos.

No complaints about the tunes!

I'm digging a bit deeper, I think Alison Goldfrapp took this look almost directly around 2003/4

Certainly I can see that a thing was building that led to Kate Bush. It's still a little glam though.

strange that someone can have a few big hits that still sound good and just be that forgotten.
without seeing that TOTP 2 clip Lli posted in the early 2000's I'd never have heard of her either

I don't know whether to buy tickets to see them. They pretty much sound like my first band..which obviously is a good thing

I discovered this fucking amazing synth heavy version of the OHMSS theme that John Barry did the year after the film (or something). I reckon the synth sound in this one is even better than the original, and I reckon it's even cooler with the drums there
