what Binoculars shall I get so?

I dunno, I only ever used crappy non-astronomical ones in the parents back garden in the town with a book to tell me how to find stuff but even with these I could see galaxies and nebulae that I couldn't see without them even if they were still only dim smudges. It was so cool! That was years ago, I've been in Dublin ever since and can't see anything.
I did buy a cheap telescope later but it was shite, I couldn't find anything
