I know of free parking near the royal canal. That is all

The Quays near the law courts are an idea. There are free parking streets round the back of Christchurch, but dodgeeeeee. The street that runs from Dublin Castle up towards the liberties parallel to Dame Street might be one too, it's an amazing spot if it's free. The biggest problem with all these suggestions is that I know they're good from like 7pm onwards or something, but I'm not sure if they're free during normal working hours.

Ended up parking by the Lord Edward on Street. Free after 7pm!

I'd prefer to park in the multi story. At least there is no worry about clamping & less chance some raver gouger trying rob it.

They're always so fucking tight its a nightmare.

The one just off trinity street is really narrow. I drive a small-ish car and its tricky to manoeuvre.
