What television series are you currently making your way through? (4 Viewers)

The Haunting of Hill House. Actually pretty decent. Great location, decent acting and character development and some genuinely creepy moments. It’s got that stupid beige-y orange filter that Netflix put on all their shows which I hate but that aside it’s not half as bad as I thought it’d be.

Been alternating between Blakes 7 on YouTube and Dirk Gently on netflix. Only discovered a few episodes in that there had been a previous bbc version of Dirk Gently. Would have watched that first had I known. I'm into the netflix one though.

Star Trek TOS on the Horror Channel. It's mind bogglingly great.

I was wondering if the colour settings on the TV needed adjusting or if the women were wearing caked on orange makeup.

I'm enjoying this. I only watched the original move last week for the first time in years. The series is full of little nods to the film, even borrowing some of the dialogue. I'm up to episode 6 now and hoping it maintains the quality level.

I'll probably watch it around Halloween and let you know.

I started watching the late 60's adaptation of the Owl Service

It's pretty good, shot on location and screenplay by the author so it's got a kind of authenticity to it. I'd still prefer to just read the damn book again though.

Thought I'd get in on the action given the time of year. Okay so far. The cast are a bit Days of Our Lives though, aren't they?

The age difference between the Dad from the past and the present one doesn't seem right. Couldn't they just have made Henry Thomas look a little older?

Still on Mad Men, just finishing up Series 3. I've pretty much had it with this now. Tell me, does it get better? At the moment it's only Megan's wardrobe making it watchable.

On the 2nd season of 13 Reasons Why. It's really gripping but there's some elements of it that are really stupid and a little hard to get past.

Want to watch the Haunting of Hill House next.

I finished The Haunting of Hill House last night. Overall I really enjoyed it.

I'm not sure about people finding solace in being with the spirits of their loved ones, trapped in that house forever. To me that between-life state seemed like a nightmarish fever dream, but in the last episode it was like finding paradise in the fields of Elysium.

I don't think they should make a second series. But they are.

Watched the entire of Killing Eve in one sitting there on Friday.

Best thing I've seen all year, except....

for the last episode where it was a total copout just to set up season 2, but that's television life i suppose

I also finally got round to finishing Rick and Morty which is fine. Very clever.
