The Spook of the Thirteenth Lock - Lockout (1 Viewer)

This was a tricky gig. I spent the duration of Lockout looking forward to hearing it and getting into it at home. That is to say the venue killed the night for me. Didn't sound great and all I could see until I stood up in the side aisle for the last song and a half was Alan's right eye and a bit of his hair. Churches should be avoided. I hope spook have more gigs scheduled, not in churches.

Soundwise I smelled trouble once i'd seen that someone had put four mics on Landless in a church - its an actual church like, It has one job.

Anyways, I was up the front more or less ahead of the soundsystem- about 3rd row and it sounded immense.

Can totally empathize that there are parts of a church that sound like a mess once you stick a soundsystem from a different century into a room built to transmit sound from one point. Think less reinforcement my have benefited further from the stage areas better.
