Those kind folk at Forever Presents have given us three pairs of tickets for what will be their last ever show - Koko Von Napoo's gig in Crawdaddy next Wednesday, June 23rd. Here are all the details:

United in their love of reverb, synthesizers and destructured melodies, the band delivers a personaland out of time electro pop.
To cut a long story short (no reference intended), there's no need to try and explain an absolutely absurd name and a fantastic adventure that started something like three years ago. All right…
So you want to know more about some future rock 'n' roll stars? They are four: three girls and a boy. Named as if forgotten characters from the Magic Roundabout Toupie, Renarde, Kokoboy and Kiddo, Koko Von Napoo hail from Paris, and take their collective name from the pre-war Manchester gang ‘The Napoo'. They are unashamedly in love with raclette and red wine, stupid dogs and Nouvelle vague – the French movies, obviously.
Believe it or not, their story begins by the English seaside, in this time-stopping beautiful town called Brighton. That's where a wonder woman called Toupie decided she could write better songs than New Order and Lio altogether. Damn, she was right.
To achieve her plans, she recruited Kiddo, a Franco-Polish drummer who is so small you can barely see her, Renarde, a brunette desperately in love with vintage keyboards and the melodica New Order used in Love Vigilantes, and, last but not least, Kokoboy, a so-called part-time punk (how modern is that!), for bass duties.
Their debut single ‘Polly-Agence Blady' was released on 1st December 2008 on Trouble Records. Polly also features on the Rough Trade Counter Culture compilation (January 2009). Their next EP on Trouble Records will be released in June 2009 and will include mixes by Julien Delfaud & Joseph (Metronomy), and a remix by Teenagers.
