The Dudley Corporation 28 February

The Dudley Corporation. Japans favourite post lock band. Debut album was a worldwide smash, touring decimated whole continents and new LP is on the way. 3 boys playing smart arsed, romantic, fast math pop. Top jums.

Hikikomori

Northstation 27 August

'Bears' is the new album by Northstation, aka Steve Fanagan. Recorded by Steve at home over the past year, it is a meditative collection of fractured electronics and chiming guitars that brings to mind things like the hum of Labradford, the electronic warmth of Four Tet, and a host of other stuff from Polmo Polpo to This Heat. It has been released in a specially-commissioned heavy cardboard sleeve, and sounds great on headphones. It's on sale in Ireland for around ten euros.
