Title:
Hefty Horse: The Dead Flags, You Kiss ByThe Book
When:
Sat 11 Jul
Where:
Crawdaddy - Dublin
Category:
Gigs

Description

With their first single reaching No. 22 in the Irish Charts and No. 1 on DownloadMusic.ie last August and the track "I Can't Be Held Responsible" receiving national airplay courtesy of Today FM, 2FM and BBC Radio One (even becoming a jingle for the Alison Curtis show on Today FM), THE DEAD FLAGS have had a busy year. With national radio and TV appearances, welcome support from such venerable institutions as Hot Press Magazine, Alternative Ulster and Phantom 105.2, not to mention 5 national tours in the last 18 months, the band are going from strength to strength.

This Summer sees THE DEAD FLAGS touring in Europe and on the Summer festival circuit at home but most importantly, the boys embark on the recording of their debut album with rising Irish producer Karl Odlum. This special Summer show in Crawdaddy will allow the band to road-test some new material and generally get back in touch with their sizeable fanbase.
