2008 ushered in a new era for Blacklisted with the release of their now classic "Heavier Than Heaven..." album. Recorded and engineered by Kurt Ballou (Converge) @ Godcity, "Heavier Than Heaven, Lonelier Than God" carried a psychological darkness merely hinted at in their previous "Peace On Earth..." release, diving head first into the jaws of their introspective abyss. This bold leap sharpened their teeth and reaped great creative rewards. Songs like "Stations" and "Touch Test" erupted with a shocking state of emotional electricity, while the abrasive melancholy of "Circuit Breaker" and "Wish" possessed the ability to haunt listeners for a lifetime. Cementing their reputation as one of the only true lone-wolves of their hardcore generation.
