Anseo used to be Con's Pub, a traditional pub that did a steady business with locals but never created much of an atmosphere. The owners of Anseo got their hands on this joint, turned the lights down and made the atmosphere a whole lot brighter. The bar started attracting a steady clientele of young trendy suburbanites and clubbers with an excellent selection of Dublin's DJs spinning vinyl in the bar over the weekend.

The price of a pint is very reasonable for Camden Street and the bar tends to very friendly, although Anseo has become so popular in the last few months that the bar is too small for the crowds its generating and it can get a bit packed over the weekend.
