I thin I knew that actually. We did sign some absolute nobodies that could only have been scouted by a computer, Seamus Coleman for example.
I'm sure clubs will use any thing to get a tip on a player. Clubs have a huge scouting team who watch leagues everywhere. One of the things that Everton do is buy young players then immeadiatley send a lot of players out on loan, then have a scout who monitors their progress very carefully. So for example when Ross Barkley went on loan to Sheffield Wednesday some dude went along to watch him a lot and report back. It's hard to imagine a club like Chelski or City (who can basically buy anyone) doing the same. I could be wrong.

Of those how many players will make it to the first team at Chelski ? I get the impression Mourinho has never watched Lukaku. Atsu is on loan again this season in spite of having a good season in Holland.

Chelski know what they're doing in that regard. So do City buy what you can afford then bury most of them, just so long as your rivals don't get access to them.

If they're using Championship manager they should buy this Northern Irish lad called Ormo that I played in a 6-aside league against the odd time. He used to play for Bangor or Larne. I signed him in Championship Manager and because he is of Nigerian descent, he for some reason got called up to the Nigeria national team and scored a penalty in the World Cup. What a player!
