another bit of a splurge last week, 3 of the most interesting ones;

Stone (soundtrack). from 1974 Oz B-movie biker flick that I have not seen but currently downloading. reissued by finders keepers. stands up as a good listen after one spin. prog/jazz/psych/whatever. Very good.

Cosmic Machine - A voyage across french cosmic and electronic avant-garde (1970-1980)

Excellent. does exactly as you'd imagine. cosmic disco/instrumental goodness featuring the likes of Droids, J M Jarre, Bernard Fevre, Cerrone, Rockets and a bunch more

Ga'an - Ga'an
2010 release, or there abouts. A trio of yanks doing a prog record. drums on this I am particularly fond of and vocals by some chick done in the style of koyaanisqatsi movie score. Great listen. maybe not for everyone

Local library has that movie on dvd,it wasn't as good as I hoped.
Can't remember much about the soundtrack either.

soundtrack is not a 'fucking hell, this sounds amazing' listen. can see how the music might pass you by watching the movie. nonetheless, interesting variety of styles throughout and works well as a one sitting listen
