I remember being down in my wife's parents house one time and a baby bird had fallen out of a nest in a tree out back. When her da picked it up and put it back in the nest all the other baby birds jumped out. Then the mother bird arrived and started pecking the head off him so we retreated back to the house.

I just brought Chirpy the finch down the vets and she called the Council Wildlife Officer or someone.
