was in the shower and the doorbell rang. knew i never was going to make it. heard a few things land on the floor.

the postman had removed enough of the amazon cardboard to get a book in the letterbox, saving me a drive into town (15 miles round) to collect it.

he probably could have tried the door though, it was actually open.
