Sci-fi movies have broad appeal to Thumped members, even to those that like decent music?

Marvel Screened Guardians of the Galaxy for the Co-Creator of Rocket

Bill Mantlo, who created Rocket Raccoon with artist Keith Giffen, suffered a traumatic brain injury from a hit-and-run accident in 1992. So today, Marvel found a way to screen the film for him.

Was there any bits you liked?

Yes, the business with Rocket being all "what's that Skip" when Groot was talking. Wasn't sure if we were supposed to think he could pick up on the tiny inflections of those 3 words in a Han and Chewie sort of way, of if he was just insane and having a conversation with himself.

I mean that the type of music generally reviewed is independent and relies on forums like this to get it out there. The movies are the other end of the spectrum.
