  1. Bad Thoughts this Wednesday: Insurrection!

Bad Thoughts, this Wednesday November 12th at (the slightly later time of) 8pm

    "Insurrection!"

This session of Bad Thoughts we will be discussing the topic of insurrection.

Is insurrection a way to kick off a revolution? A prime example of this occurring is right on our own doorstep, where the insurrection of 1916 prompted a mass revolution that led to independence.

But is organising an insurrection elitist, or a "vanguard" activity, where a small group of individuals decides whats best for the rest of society?

Are insurrections always doomed to failure?

We will also discuss insurrections in a current context. Are the large scale "anti capitalist" demos in recent years, such as Seattle, Prague, Quebec & Genoa examples of insurrections against the capitalist system? If an insurrection happens tomorrow, what would we do?

    All are welcome.

For more information please ring Killian on 086 177 0439.
