The Urges: “Amazingly authentic 60s-Nuggets-style Garage Punk reflecting the one tiny ray of hope from the stygian dark hopeless madness of the asylum we like to call the 21st Century.” - Little Steven Van Zandt http://www.wickedcoolrecords.com/medialounge/wickedcoolbands/theurges
Howlin'Dowlin: Howlin'Dowlin are a gang of four who specialize in Rock'n'Roll music that is melodic and hard-hitting in equal measure. Obvious influences include Oasis, The Strokes, Supergrass, Nirvana, Libertines and Kings of Leon, less obvious would be the Graham Coxon wing of Blur. http://breakingtunes.com/howlindowlin
The Statics: Mixing the pop sensibilities of the Beatles, the snarling vocals of The Arctic Monkeys and not forgetting the rhythmic acoustic guitars of the Everlys (and hopefully their harmonies!) The Statics are a truly powerful force live and on record. http://breakingtunes.com/thestatics
The Razor Ball: 2 piece lo-fi garage-punk-blues outfit. http://therazorball.bandcamp.com/album/respect-your-wishes
The Rumble: This four piece have the coolness of The Clash, the swagger of Primal Scream and a sound that combines Rock and Indie in one big musical cocktail. http://breakingtunes.com/therumble
Dirty Jezabel: Dirty Jezabel were formed when D.C.McIntyre heard Oisin O'Ceallaigh screaming like an old Mississippi bluesman on Grafton Street. After several personal changes, the lineup solidified when he ran into John Gillbride getting off a bus after being arrested and when Paul Campbell approached him in Merrion offering "a shot of the can for a shot of the guitar" http://www.facebook.com/pages/Dirty-Jezabel/161812423849246?sk=app_19507961798
Robert Jordan: Bandcamp writes: This Bayonet Tongue "This Record combines poetic beauty with the storytelling of the folk tradition. In our opinion, it’s the best release of 2011." http://robertjordan.bandcamp.com/album/this-bayonet-tongue
