    SILENT FRONT

South London based independent, abrasive angular rock in the style of Me Without You, Ten Grand and At the Drive In. The drummer looks like Moss from "The IT Crowd" and the singer looks like yer man from "Time Gentlemen Please". The bass player has long hair but doesn’t look like anyone on the telly. THEY'RE DEADLY!!

    SHLOW

"Shlow, betwixed and between the regular and irregular. Conspiracy theories aside Shlow make a difference in a god-shaped hole. Heads will explode, like wasps, in a shed of unbelievable kick syndrome. Those heads un-damaged will only go expanded and improved (super-human powers...a possibility!!!!). SHLOW is Adam from Copenhagen's "Imagine I had hands" and Paul and John from "Hands up who wants to Die" and they will be bringing some top quality drunken, noisy rubbish for you to enjoy or endure.

    RIASTRADH

The mighty Riastradh are back! The Ballina 3 piece played their first gig in years in Ballina last month and now they'll be treating us to more aural delights in the vain of Shellac and Melt Banana.
3 folk with instruments and ideas. Formed in 2005 with intent to play and write. So far it has worked out.
We hail from the outer west coast of Ireland performing the hits of what it's like to live there. Wild scian waving perfumed in harm. Avalanches are not a regular occurrence in the west and neither are we.We write music to dance to, but only if you have ten peg legs. Once described as "day ghosht" by himself, the sound omitted by Riastradh left wings around the air only to plunge directly in the brain to manifest itself as music in the listener.
Three men are responsible for Riastradh and three things are responsible for Riastradh.
    1. The Path
    2. Conclusion.
    3. Evolution.
The true form of secrecy is the only lie we admit to telling the truth to. The detective of Dublin used to ask us questions, we answered his questions in the true form of secrecy. This is why we are here today.
This concludes the history and reason behind Riastradh.

    CHILDREN UNDER HOOF

Children Under Hoof are five people from various regions of Ireland, brought together in college by a mutual love of Risk, Father Ted and 7"s played at 33 RPM. Members include Limerick's Miss Junior Teen '99, the co-founder of the original Ted Fest, 1/2 of experimental band Ixchel, 1/1 of Patrick Kelleher, and IADT's Best Tash 2006. Their music, vl tone busting/sax swarming/vss sampling/floor tom pounding noise creates a sound that could be described as trying to channel the souls of Robert Rendal, Michael Karoli and Porter Wagoner but failing in a wigi board inferno. Children Under Hoof were included on Peek Sounds of the Irish Underground record released by Analogue Magazine. They are busy working on a self release cassette EP "A Collar Can Become A Noose" EP (Out Late November), a split 12" with Hunter/Gatherer and a full length album both out early next year.

    proper Silent Front Biog

    SILENT FRONT

Silent Front are a DIY trio from london pedalling a uncomprisiming blend of abrasive post-punk and hardcore.

the last twelve months has seen SF recruit a new drummer, release a split 7" with the amazing Shield Your Eyes, tour europe and the uk 3 times, start a record label (triplejump), and record an album (to be joint released by 5 indies in april), but still find the time to play shows with awesome bands like Black Elk, The Hope Conspiracy, Pneu, Scul Hazzards, Heirs, Nitkowski, Hey Colossus, Chickenhawk, Palehorse, Attack! Vipers! and tonnes more.

in addition to the album release, SF plan to tour extensively throughout 2010 across the uk, ireland and mainland europe, as well as releasing a split EP with progressive hardcorists Revok (from Paris) later in the year.

Unfortunately Riastradh have cancelled this one. Stepping in are the distinguished "Grey Mayhem".

Grey Mayhem is Ror (formerly of Puget Sound), Ruadhan from Guilty Optics and Crayonsmith and Paul from Hands up who wants to die (formerly of Sylvan)
They play a synth splashed, tuneful, noisy, hefty brand of Post-brown hair music.
