being a Bogger, 1987 was the only time i saw the all day build up growing up.
we got the British channels in 1986 and then moved in 1987.
being in co. Wexford we had the Welsh regional versions of the four UK channels (i think the was the case there until digital TV came in).

in the clip the accountant uses one of my favourite sayings:
'Somewhere to the right of Genghis Khan'.

the Coventry team was almost the same as the one was almost the one got relegated in 1986.
Cyrille Regis (in his Autobiography) put 'Snoz' Sillett's encouraging the team to socialize together ( i.e. going drinking a LOT) a the reason for the turn around.

it was a great match alright - great memories of the day.
Greavsie was great pals with Snoz from their Chelsea days.
Actually John's brother George played for Chelsea and England.
 
Keith Houchen's header was the first time I'd seen a diving header. It was mindblowing.
I wonder in retrospect, given that's it's their only trophy or whatever, do they regret dressing up like Sheffield Wednesday.
