At the 2005 EP we had some magic mushrooms we bought in some head shop. We were in our tent when a security guy stuck his head in and seen our mushrooms: "Well well well, waking up for a bit of breakfast"
He 'confiscated' them even though we told him they were legal. He said if we wanted them back we should call the gardai so my mate called the local gardai station complaining about security taking our mushrooms. Needless to say their response was just a 'what do you want me to do?'

If you don't mind noise or ravers surely you can camp pretty much anywhere?

Last time I was there we camped way off in the distance in the quiet campsite, but rented a locker right by the entrance to store cans in for easy access. Worked out pretty good

I had a mate doing an art installation at it 2 years ago and he worked his magic to wrangle his way into the VIP area at the back of the cooking tent. He rang me to come over, so I did, but we were reefed by some mean looking woman who wouldn't let us in. I had to run, and while she was distracted my friend snuck back in.
