Ha, yeah it was pretty ridiculous but honestly I expected it all to fall apart somewhere along the line.

What's mental about the Lukaku deal is that it was paid for by TV money. We were on telly somewhere in the world every second week last season (Or as someone who watched most matches online, it certainly seemed that way) It's pretty interesting. We were definitely involved in the best game of last season (3-3 against Liverpool) and a few crackers (Arsenal away, City at home, United away, even West Ham away) If we can't repay our debts by selling our players. Could we really entertain our way out of it ? we earned enough from foreign TV last season to pay off the bulk of our debt. Okay we spent it on players but could this actually work ?


And wouldn't it be great if everyone could wise up and stop watching Chelski, Big Sam and Tony Pulis forever.

That has no relevance what so ever but I just wanted to have a dig at them.
