I'm pretty sure they need one (landlords do) when they register with the PRTB (and they HAVE to do this to be paying tax and doing things above board).

Found out that if you weren't informed of the BER or the place you rent doesn't have one then your contract or lease is null and void! Which works both ways (your landlord could kick you out with no notice or you could leave with no notice). Our house was rated quite low, maybe a D but the bills...

We ALWAYS use Tom for our merch!! Best t-shirts in town :) In response to Napalm: We want as many people as possible to hear/listen to the album, come to gigs and maybe buy a copy of it from us at the gig. We won't be getting many pressed up - enough to send out to press and to sell at gigs...

Oh yeah, I don't know if this is what you'd planned but you should bill the video as a single release, even if you're not going to do any physical copies of the single.

On your own website, and your breaking tunes. If you've got a band facebook you should put it there. State.ie and Nialler9 often use videos when writing about bands. As do many of the other bloggers - Nay at Harmless Noise, Sweet Oblivion, Swearimnotpaul etc

Thanks for all the advice folks. This is the part of being in a band I'd prefer to ignore, but I tried that and we still don't have any physical copies of album!
