A more specific answer would be to head to Barcelona to coincide with when they are playing Real Madrid at home, (November 28th) Always an extra special buzz in town then, Aer Lingus have a deal right now, til Monday midnight, €70 return incl taxes and service charges

Depends what you're looking for. In Europe I'd recommend Barcelona, TOP town. If you got money for tickets (and plenty of time) hit South America and/or Cuba. I'm assuming you're not in to poxy package type holidays.
